When we sing with love, everything around us listens with joy.
I love singing. I'm no pro-level singer but over the past few years I've realized I've become better at it. Being good in singing is one of my dreams.
Ahead of Sunday's tribute concert, Blackwood says band members are 'just trying to get through the day'.

(Epic) The descriptor “mumble rap” is mostly used disparagingly about a new generation of dead-eyed MCs, but 21 Savage turns monotony into a virtue. There is a slight uptick in vocal musicality compared with his previous work, particularly on the Drakeian track Out vor the Night, but for the most part the Atlantan star continues with his dominant voice: a supremely jaded cadence where each line pitches slightly downwards at the end, suggesting a head that can never be held high. He has plenty of average lines – almost as offensive as the rightly controversial “Jewish money” lyric in ASMR is the weakness of “you get burned like toast” as a simile – but his catchy flows always make him magnetic, especially when paired with universally brilliant production from Metro Boomin, Kid Hazel and others. There is slow, glistening Miami bass on A&T, chopped-up soul on A Lot, sad synth chords on Pad Lock. And there are some powerful, pithy lyrics: “Fuck 40 acres and a mule / They got 50 racks and a brand new Sig” bleakly sums up how the US has failed its black citizens since the end of slavery. Big massive son in 2012. Married to my long-term partner in 2016. Mainly just drink tea and that now. I paid for Alan Carr's wedding essentially out of boredom. “You can't sing about Alan Carr's wedding,” they said. Which is bollocks because planning that was actually very fraught and we had to have at least two big barneys about the table settings and four (four!) about whether we'd have bows on the chairs, so actually, Sony, there is a lot of material there. They still said no. It may not be used by everyone, but there are well over 500,000 people who speak it in Wales. Our music, meanwhile, is an important way to remind people around the world that it exists. I decided to make a road-trip around Wales to document this scene. Three years ago, director Gruff Davies and I set out, with no funding, to take a snapshot of musicians on Wales's artistic fringes. Our documentary, Anorac, is a celebration of the language and of the work people have done to maintain its relevance. You have lifers, like John Peel favourites Meic Stevens and Datblygu, who have only ever sung in Welsh. Anorac is a testament to the fact that they're still here, and a tribute to the people making music now, such as Gwenno and the Bajan-Welsh singer Kizzy Crawford. First he showcased his recent Frank Sinatra tribute album, My Way, with a gently swinging rendition of the classic “Fly Me to the Moon”. Who knew Ol' Blue Eyes and a harmonica solo could go together so well? And because it's always Willie's way, Nelson stuck around to perform his new political anthem, “Vote 'Em Out”. Though the lyrics are carefully bipartisan and simply about getting out the vote, we all know what “clowns” to which the song refers. Nelson debuted the song at a rally for Texas Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke, and maybe giving it a late night boost will help the Democrat narrow the gap between himself and Ted Cruz. Watch both performances below. Ahead of the televised appearance, it was announced that Nelson will be receiving a special honor ahead of next year's Grammy Awards. The Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing have chosen the country icon as their honoree at their annual pre-Grammys salute. Last year's honorees were Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, while past recipients include Jack White, Rick Rubin, Neil Young, and Nile Rodgers. Iconic musician Neil Young and actress Daryl Hannah appear to be married, with varying reports indicating that the pair tied the knot over the weekend. Back in 2014, Neil Young filed for divorce from his wife of 36 years, Pegi. Soon afterwards, it was reported that he had entered a relationship with US actress Daryl Hannah. Now, it appears as though the pair have made their relationship well and truly official. As The Mirror reports, the pair seem to have been married during a ceremony in front of close friends in Atascadero, California on Saturday. Reports indicate that an earlier ceremony was also held aboard Young's yacht in July, which saw them travel to the San Juan islands. If you're wondering why the details are a little unclear, it's namely because not only have the pair not officially confirmed the news, but even close friends like Neil Young's guitarist seemed unaware of the news. “Congratulations to Daryl Hannah and Neil Young on their wedding today,” wrote Mark Miller on Facebook, before noting “I only knew about it because one of my friends attended the ceremony in Atascadero and announced it on his page.” Likewise, the administrator of Neil Young's blog helped to confirm the news as well. “Congrats N & D,” they wrote. “No word on first dance song, but it probably wasn't the Bluenotes 'Married Man.'” When asked if the wedding was official, the administrator replied, “Several attendees at (the) reception yesterday in central CA area have confirmed. Described as a 'shindig.'” So far, the only acknowledgement from either Neil Young or Daryl Hannah appears to come from the latter's Instagram account, where she posted a seemingly-cryptic post that read, “someone's watching over us…. love & only love.” While fans were quick to jump in and offer their congratulations, the pair are yet to address their union officially. Incidentally, a Facebook user by the name of Ron Fugere, who is an experienced captain in the Pacific Northwest, also shared an image of what he claimed was the couple during their first ceremony. “I hope Neil and Daryl will forgive me for sharing these photos taken July 27, 2018 in Echo Bay, Sucia Island, San Juan Islands, Washington State,” Fugere wrote. “This is the sailing vessel WN Ragland, owned by our favourite musician,” he continued. “As the sun was setting and the full blood moon about to rise, there was an intimate ceremony held on deck.” “We were probably the only people in the world to witness it.” Regardless, we offer our sincere congratulations to the happy couple! Check out Neil Young & The Bluenotes' 'Married Man':“I'm confused as to why such a principled musician, who thought I 'stole' from his friends, would show up to work for me anyway”
