When we sing with love, everything around us listens with joy.
I love singing. I'm no pro-level singer but over the past few years I've realized I've become better at it. Being good in singing is one of my dreams.
Deerhunter's Bradford Cox Says He's Still a Virgin, Discusses Asexuality With Savages' Jehnny Beth10/20/2016
Bradford Cox was the most recent guest on Savages' Jehnny Beth's Beats 1 radio show âStart Making Sense.â The Deerhunter frontman sat down for a wide-ranging conversation that in part focused on Cox's views on asexuality and his own sexual history. He told Beth that he identifies as asexual, and revealed âAt 34 years old, I'm actually a virgin.â He continued, saying, âTo be asexual is very confusing. And a lot of people are mistreated who are asexual, because I don't think people really believe in asexuality.â Beth said that she thinks âwe live in a very sexual society,â and Cox added, âCapitalism and sexuality to me are inherent linked.â You can listen to a clip of their conversation below and the full talk here. Elsewhere in the interview, they discussed Cox's now-defunct blog and the influence of PJ Harvey on their music. Deerhunter is currently touring North American in support of their 2015 album Fading Frontier. Previous episodes of âStart Making Senseâ have featured conversations with members of LCD Soundsystem, the xx, Queens of the Stone Age, Ian MacKaye, and Faith No More.
